by the general European rules. Current regulations were agreed upon in 2010 as the Digital Agenda for
europe, being part of the europe 2020 programme. The main goals of the Agenda include digitaliza-
tion, full broadband internet access and increased internet usage in public administration, commerce as
well as in thepolitical and social sphere. Polish digitalization activities are regulated by the Strategy for
the Development of the information Society in Poland introduced in 2008.and lasting to 2013.
