Summary

This article presents information services of science libraries in Kielce: those of the Higher Seminary, Provincial Public Library, Provincial Pedagogical Library, Main Library of the Technical University in Kielce and the Main Library of Świętokrzyska Academy. The size of the libraries, financial situation, staff and library services are discussed. The computer equipment of the libraries is characterized, emphasizing the role of electronic information sources in information services of the discussed libraries.
