Jakie znaczenie we współczesnym świecie odgrywa kultura? Czy istnieje na nią zapotrzebowanie? Jaką rolę pełni prasa w promowaniu wydarzeń kulturalnych? Co przez pojęcie kultury rozumieją współczesne tabloidy? Czy informują o niej swych czytelników? A jeżeli tak, to jaką formę ów przekaz przyjmuje? Co, według redakcji najpoczytniejszej gazety tabloidalnej w Polsce, jest informacją kulturalną? Jakie formy dziennikarskie używane są najchętniej na łamach tej gazety do przekazywania treści kulturalnych? Czy pojawiają się recenzje książek, flmów, inscenizacji i ekranizacji? W jak dużym stopniu proces tabloidyzacji dotknął również informacje związane z kulturą? Na te pytania starano się odpowiedzieć analizując zawartość wybranego dodatku tematycznego do gazety "Fakt". Badaniem objęto lata 2010–2014.
What is the importance of culture in the contemporary world? Is there any demand for it? What is the role of the press in promoting cultural events? What is the modern tabloids’ conception of culture? Do they inform their readers about it? If they do, what is the form which this message assumes? What, according to the editorial department of the most widely-read tabloid newspaper in Poland, is cultural information? What journalistic forms are used on the pages of this paper most willingly to convey the cultural contents? Do reviews of books, movies, stage productions and adaptations appear there? To what extent the process of tabloidization has also infuenced the information related to culture? The author endeavors to these questions through an analysis of the content of select thematic supple-ment from “Fakt” magazine. The research pertains to the years 2010–2014.
