Summary

This article deals with publishing initiatives of the Society for Borderland Guard in the years 1918-1922. In this period the Society, whose aim was the development of Polish culture and Polish influences on the eastern borderland of the Second Republic, published 27 press titles. They are characterized in this text. The activity of the Department of Press and Propaganda, created within the structure of the Society, is also discussed. Besides, posts of the Department of Press and Propaganda are presented, and their contribution to the social and economic life as well to the spread of extra-curricular education in the Eastern Territories is shown.
