Summary

The formation of the independent Polish state opened a successive stage in the history of the Radom press. New political and socio-cultural conditions favoured the development of local press.
This article attempts to make a list of the Polish press titles published in Radom in the interwar period. The list of titles comprises 73 papers published in the Polish language by the Polish publishers from 11 November 1918 to 1 September 1939 and also those which began to appear before regaining of independence and were issued in the subsequent years.
The article also provides a statistical characterization of the Polish press, its quantitative development, political "geography" and typology of publishers.
