This article deals with the educational and publishing activity of the Piotr Skarga Society (1909—1914) in Lwow. It was an organization founded by the Catholic intelligentsia in order to carry out the social teaching of the Catholic Church. The scope of its activity included whole Austrian Galicia, but its goal was to participate in the spiritual and cultural life ot other parts of partitioned Poland.
