Artykuł poświęcony został opisowi kluczowych aspektów samodzielnego udostępniania informacji przez Sejm oraz zasadom pracy dziennikarzy w jego siedzibie. Stawiana teza brzmi: polityka udostępniania informacji przez Sejm RP nie jest spójną koncepcją; swoimi działaniami Sejm potraf jednocześnie ułatwiać i utrudniać dostęp do informacji. Badaniom poddane zostały następujące grupy zagadnień: 1) przepisy wewnętrzne dotyczące udostępniania informacji, 2) zasady pracy mediów (dziennikarzy) w siedzibie Sejmu, 3) sposoby samodzielnego, aktywnego udostępniania informacji przez Sejm (bez trybów wnioskowych) oraz inne działania informacyjne i skierowane do mediów.
The article is devoted to the description of the key aspects of independent disclosure of information by the Sejm and the journalistic work principles prevailing there. The thesis states as follows: policy on disclosure of information by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland is not a coherent concept; the Sejm, through its measures, can equally facilitate and impede access to information. The following groups of issues have been examined: 1) internal rules concerning disclosure of information, 2) principles of media work (journalists) at the seat of the Sejm, 3) methods of independent and active dissemination of information by the Sejm (without the need to fle a request), other information measures and those addressed to the media.
