Informacja jest ważkim elementem życia człowieka i tworzonych przez niego wspólnot. W spo-łeczeństwie określanym jako informacyjne zmieniła się forma i sposób przekazywania wiadomości. Dzięki postępowi technologicznemu i rozwojowi nowych środków komunikowania prasa tradycyjna, korzystając z możliwości jakie stwarza internet, zyskała nową formułę i sposób dotarcia do odbiorcy. Cyberprzestrzeń stanowi rzeczywistość niezwykle dynamiczną, a przez to skomplikowaną. Jednym z problemów z nią związanych jest określenie statusu prawnego tzw. prasy internetowej.
Information is an important element of human life and the communities created by people. In the society known as the information society, the form and method of transmitting information have changed. Due to technological progress and development of new means of communication, the tradi-tional press, using the possibilities ofered by the Internet, has obtained a new formula and a new way to reach the recipient. Cyberspace is an exceedingly dynamic reality and, therefore, a much complex one. One of the problems associated with it is how to defne the legal status of the so-called web press.
